Jozi Trails, custodians of the Braamfontein Spruit and surrounding areas have started a charity team for this year’s event!

The Virgin Active 947 Ride Joburg hosted by the City of Johannesburg, is more than just a cycling race – it’s a platform for participants to accomplish something greater than themselves. Whether achieving a personal goal; fundraising for charity or helping those who need a boost en route, this event allows participants and supporters alike to reach out, support each other, and make themselves and the whole of Joburg proud.

We want to encourage ALL mountain bikers who frequent our lovely trails (or know of us and would like to join us) to make an impact on 17 November.

We want you to ride your MTB on the tar with us for 97km!
